||September 2019 Club Meeting
||Presentation by Burlyn Rogers
||September's Club meeting will feature an interesting philatelic presentation by one of our club members, Burlyn Rogers. His talk is entitled "Bad Boys (And A Couple of Bad Girls): A Philatelic Look into the Faces of Child Monarchs." It is a thematic look at the tenuous monarchies of a previous age, demonstrated in the stamps of their nations. It should be a fascinating topic and I am sure will feature some interesting stamps from the classical period of stamps.

||October 2019 Club Meeting
||Club and Member Auction
||The October club meeting will feature one of our usual Club and Member auction. Each member can submit philatelic related lots of their choice and keep 100% of the proceeds realized. Members can specify a reserve price below which they won't part with the material, or they can set no reserve and let "the market decide" the price. Also,we will auction off any lots that have been donated to the club and all proceeds will go into the club's treasury. Donation of a lot to the club is an excellent way for you to dispose of excess philatelic material you may have and benefit the club itself. This activity remains the most popular of all of our activities. Before the auction we will have the usual APS Circuit books starting at 6:30 pm and a short business meeting at 7 pm.

||Traditional Annual Holiday Party
||This date is reserved for our traditional annual holiday party at a local restaurant. All members are invited and you may bring your spouse or guest. Following dinner we will have our traditional "Yankee Swap" gift exchange. Members bring a philatelic related wrapped gift with an estimated cost/value of about $20. Gifts are drawn by lot and you may select an wrapped gift or swap your gift with another member who has already unwrapped a gift. It is a fun time with lots of laughs and suspense for all! It's a club favorite. Further details to follow.
